WR - Full Flow Oil Filter Kit

Our full flow filter kit is the result of years of experimenting and tests. It is almost completely silent, without the noise often associated with full flow systems. No pressure relief is necessary with the use of a bypass valve type oil filter. The kit is supplied with a Fram HP1 or a WIX filter.

It is the cleanest looking full flow set up on the market, and has a very low visual impact on your car’s original appearance. There is no need to modify your stock heater boxes. Once it is installed you can re-fit the stock oil pump muffler shield for a completely stock appearance. The filter is mounted under the left rear fender and can be easily changed. It is guaranteed to reduce oil temperature and dramatically improve oil filtration compared to the stock by-pass filter. It comes completely assembled and ready to install. All hoses are black Aeroquip with black 8AN screw on fittings and safety clamps. The hose is insulated from exhaust heat using a black fire-sleeve. The stock by pass oil filter can be left in place.

Installation is simple:

1. Tap and install a metric pipe plug in the stock oil pump output galley.
2. Drill and tap the machine boss above the oil by-pass plug in the front cover.
3. Install the special oil pump cover.
4. Trim the pulley tin to clear pump cover as shown.
5. Drill and mount the oil filter assembly in the left rear fender well.
6. Drill heater box for hose clamp.
7. Run hoses from oil pump cover to IN on filter mount, and from OUT on filter mount to 16mm fitting front cover.

Each kit contains:

1 - Filter mount and fittings completely assembled.

2 - Black WIX spin on oil filter.

2 - 8AN Aeroquip hose assemblies completely assembled.

1 - 8AN to metric inlet fitting for front cover.

1 - Special oil filter cover plate with output fitting installed.

1 - Metric pipe plug for output galley in front cover.

1 - Special clamp for hoses on heater box.
