WR 86mm Alloy/NSC Cylinders and CP Pistons
WR Alloy NSC (NIKASIL) CYLINDERS: Made from billet aluminum and plated with Nickel Silicone Carbide (Mahle trade name NIKASIL) and precision honed. The piston to cylinder clearance is honed to .002” with zero tolerance measured at the piston gauge point .4” from the bottom of the skirt including the piston coating.
WR CP PISTONS:
Made to WR specs by CP using high strength 2618 forgings. Including a 1.0/1.2/2.8mm ring package from NPR. Options include: Anti-detonation grooves, accumulator groove, double pin oilers and hi performance skirt coating. Dome size 17.0cc for a 9.5:1 compression ratio with our WR Stock Replacement Heads with 61.5cc chambers.
This is the highest quality kit you can use for building a 1720cc 356 or 912 with drop in 86mm PCs with no machining required. Supplied with our WR Copper Head Gaskets for improved cylinder to head seal.
Recommended for use with our WR58 Super camshaft.
