WR 6" Sport Air Filters

These are the newest air filter kit for the Weber 40, 44 and 48IDF from WR.  The base and top are machined from 6061 aluminum and the screen is an aluminum stamping that gives a look very similar to the original Knecht filters, but that's the only similarity. The WR filters use a K&N type inner filter element which is far superior to the original oiled wire mesh of the Knecht. The element can be cleaned or replaced when dirty.

They are available in a 6" or 4" height. The 6" version can use our taller 4" air horns which will boost the mid range torque when using our WR58 or WR68 camshafts in a 1720cc or 1950cc. The 1925S or 2.2 engines with the WR78 camshaft perform better with the shorter 2.1" air horns of the 4" filters. 

The 6" filters will work on all 356 Coupes. The 4" filters will work on all models of 356 and 912.
