The NEW Wosp 12 Volt Hi-Torque Starter, 1.9hp, has a 6 volt pinion gear that will fit any Porsche 356 109 tooth flywheel. It is self supporting, no bushing needed, and has over 525 lb/ft of torque. It will crank over the largest of Porsche 356 engines. Weighing in at only 9 pounds and measuring only 6" in length, this starter is guaranteed to fit any Porsche 356.
We recommend this starter to anyone converting their 356 to a 12 volt system.

A Hi-torque starter is a must to get your 356 off to the best start possible and knowing that John and Mike at Willhoit have the gear properly set to fit the 356's 109 tooth flywheel takes all the hassle out of getting the change over right. A must buy.
